Advanced Pegs is a replica of a classical card play of the 17th century. Its author is unknown. There are two types of it - English and Continental-European. The play starts on a field filled with chips though with at least one spare square. The goal of the play is to remove as many chips as possible. The chips come in two shapes: regular apples and monster apples, which eat the first ones. To remove an apple lead its neighboring one onto it provided free space exists behind the target apple. The lead apple would eat the target apple and move to a new place. Try to eliminate as many apples as possible. The game known as "Peg Solitaire" was popular throughout Europe in the 1800s. It is said the game was invented by a prisoner in the Bastille. FreePeg is a modern improved realization of this game.

FreePeg has two types of levels: puzzle levels (like in the original Peg Solitaire) and strategy levels.

The goal of the puzzle levels is to remove all the pegs but one. The goal of the strategy levels is to remove as many pegs as you can.

A peg can jump over any adjacent peg if there is an empty space on the other side. As a result of the jump the latter peg is removed. Only horizontal and vertical jumps are allowed.

Click the peg you want to jump. Then click the space where this peg has to jump.
