Screensever - probably a misspelling of the word screensaver.
A screensaver is a computer program first designed for conserving the picture quality of computer displays by blanking the screen or filling them with moving images or patterns when the computers are not in use. Today, screensevers are mainly for amusement. Screensever software also has been adapted as security measure. Many screensevers can be programmed to ask the user for a password before permitting him to resume work. In addition, some of them can activate a useful background task, such as a virus scan or a distributed computing application.
Screensevers should not to be confused with power management programs placing computers in a low power state after they have been idle for a specified time.
